These terms apply when you use codeventure.com.au (the website), which is operated by Code Venture Pty Ltd (ABN 98 664 769 797, ACN 664 769 797) (Code Venture, we, us). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. These terms of use cover the website only

These terms do not govern the services we provide to clients. Every client engagement is covered by a separate written agreement: a proposal or statement of work, together with our Client Terms of Engagement, which we provide before any work starts.

2. Information on this website

Articles, guides, service descriptions and other content on this website are general information only. They are not advice about your particular circumstances, so please talk to us, or another professional, before relying on them.

We work to keep the website accurate and current, but it may contain errors or become out of date. Service descriptions and examples are not offers. The scope, price and timing of any work are set out in a written proposal.

3. Using the website

You must use the website lawfully. You must not:

• interfere with or disrupt the website, or try to gain unauthorised access to it, its servers or connected systems;
• test or probe the website's security without our written permission;
• introduce viruses or other harmful code;
• use automated tools to copy large parts of the website; or
• use our forms to send spam, submit false information or impersonate someone else.

4. Intellectual property

The website's content, design, logos and code are owned by Code Venture or used under licence. You may view, download and print pages for your personal use or for your business's internal reference. Otherwise, you must not copy, reproduce, adapt or publish them without our written permission.

Client names, logos and project images remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Information you send us

When you contact us, please give accurate information, and do not include confidential or sensitive information until we have agreed how it will be handled. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

6. Third-party services and links

The website uses or links to services run by other companies, including Calendly for bookings, Google Maps, YouTube and social media platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for websites we do not control, and a link is not an endorsement.

7. Availability

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time. We do not promise that the website will always be available or free of errors.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

9. Liability

Subject to section 8, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The updated version applies from the date shown at the top of this page, and by continuing to use the website you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the courts that may hear appeals from them.
